What to expect

Sundays are vital to the life of Global Church. On Sundays all of our Missional Communities scattered throughout the Houston Heights and the island of Bali come together to glorify God and proclaim the gospel through singing, teaching, reflecting, and giving.

Opening Song
We begin each Sunday with a call to worship through song. This is a time where we sing, pray and wait upon God. During this time we ask him to supernaturally prepare our hearts for worship.

Teaching
After waiting upon the Lord through music and prayer, we transition into a time of teaching from the scriptures. We desire to be shaped by the word of God. Therefore, we prioritize the proclamation of the gospel through the scriptures every week.

Musical Response
After each sermon is finished we enter into a time of worship through music. This is a time of singing and prayer in response to the life changing truth of God's word. We sing a variety of songs that magnify Christ and reflect our desire to communicate the gospel through music.

Reflecting + Communion
After our response to God's truth through music, we take time to reflect on the gospel through communion (the Lord's Supper) and prayer. We believe that it is important to respond to the word of the Lord through reflecting upon His death in our place and His righteousness being credited to us.

Giving
During our time of reflection, we have a time designated for giving unto the Lord to advance His mission through the church. We encourage members and regular attendees to give out of a glad and generous heart.
