Global Church is essentially a collection of smaller communities called City Groups scattered throughout Houston, Texas and Bali, Indonesia. Every week, 8-12 people gather in a home to celebrate the Person and Work of Jesus Christ in authentic community. These smaller communities are a place where you are known and come to know others. A place where people are free to belong before they "behave" or even believe. City Groups exist both to equip and release people into local service for the good of the city.

The four primary functions that take place weekly at City Groups are summarized in Acts 2:42 "And they devoted themselves to the apostles teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer."
